A non-lolita outfit today! I felt inspired by natural kei, hence the headscarf.
~Rundown~
Blouse, scarf- Vintage
Skirt- Handmade by me
Boots- Innocent World
Everything else- Offbrand
The skirt is made from Laura Ashley fabric. I absolutely love Laura Ashley, and I'm always hunting for some vintage pieces. I found a wonderful brown velvet medieval-style dress recently, but the neckline was a bit low and it was too fitted for my taste. I hope someone else bought it and loved it!
I want to start wearing more headscarves! I think they're adorable. My mother has a nice collection of silk scarves so I'll have to see if I can borrow some.
I wore coral lipstick with this coordinate to brighten my face and give a doll-like look. It goes quite well with the overall colour scheme I think!
Thanks so much for looking, I hope you liked today's coordinate!
Hi, I love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteHello! Thank you very much, I'm happy to hear it :) You're very kind to say so!
ReplyDeleteOhh, that's so cute! I really think the headscarf makes it though~
ReplyDeleteVery classic in a humble sort of way~
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think Classic style can go a few different ways, sometimes gorgeous and fancy, and at other times soft and homely. I'm very keen on Meta's Gardening Teddy series, which included a little peasant-style headscarf. It's definitely on my wishlist!
This is very cute and inspiring! I have always find Russian inspired style to be very cute, but I don't think I can ever pull off that head scarves like you did!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sure you can! I'll have to make some more coordinates with a headscarf, I want to see if I can make it work with a more Lolita sillhouette. With a fairly long skirt, I think it could be nice!
